Extend the Story - Add a Room

Wandering over to the door, you still wonder whether this was the right decision, but you've learnt that even the scariest looking things, can also lead to something good, perhaps. So, despite the intensifying heat emanating from the door itself, and the fear it is causing you. You quickly swipe your hand on the molten handle, and push it as quickly as you can before you're burnt. The fire suddenly begins to become an complete inferno, blocking the route back, embers lap at your feet, and you attempt to dodge the flames.

You're left with a long narrow pathway, somehow, uncannily intersecting through the flames, as if something had separated them, leaving you with a pathway.
