If I Was A Super-Hero by KingMalice
Your given name had been replaced by the word PARIAH. Whilst your powers prove helful to the city, you are ashamed by them. You sit atop a tall building, overlooking the city landscape. You're already familiar with the radiant colours of the cars that go by, the rhythmic patterns of the traffic lights which command the vehicles. The powers which have been given to you, although they are physical changes, they have altered your mental state too. You can no longer be looked upon as a human being. Your brain urges you with tempting thoughts to search for something heavy to lift. Or somebody to destroy.

You succumb these irresistable temptations. And separate yourself from the rest of humanity.

To your surprise, a man about your size, not exactly your shape, though, is completely looked upon in the city as some sort of hero. He flies past you occasionally, with a red cape, red underwear and blue outfit of some kind. You listen to the praise and cheers from down below as he flies path, with a hasty smile on his face, appreciating the glory that he recieves.

Sometimes you wish you had taken the path he had. Sometimes you wish to use your immense strength to pulverise him, sometimes you wish somehow, you could die. But overall, he inspires you to become a better person, at night, you dream of becoming his enemy, other nights, you dream of becoming his ally. But the rest of your dreams urge you to do something heroic, or something people will talk about one day.

An old psychic by the name of Jimmy visits you one day. He teaches you things you would have never learnt before. This wise man reads your thoughts and tells you the wrongs and rights about them, with great thought, he urges you to become...
