Worlds Apart

The woman slowly looks at each of you in turn, but whatever it is she seems to be looking for, it doesn't appear to be here. Finally, she turns to look at the tutors. You can just about see her shake her head at them, before turning and walking slowly off the podium, heading to the door of the Great Hall without a backwards glance.

One of the tutors steps forward. "You may all return to your normal schedule for today. We apologise for the inconvenience that has been caused."

You stand along with the rest and leave the Great Hall, feeling a faint stab of disappointment - though you don't know why.
