Locke arrived at Faith's house twenty minutes early, clearly excited to take Faith to Hershey. The moment he arrived and rang the door bell, he noticed her parents give each other a hesitant look.
After a moment, her parents arrived at the door.
"Hello, sir, ma'am." Locke said politely, "Hey little man," He murmured to the boy clinging to his father's legs.
"Hewwo, Faith went to her fwiends house. She was too scwared to go the Hewshey Pawk. She doesn't wike you vewy much."
"Daimon!" His parents scolded looking apologetically at Locke, "I'm so very sorry Locke. I don't know what's gotten into Faith, I,"
"Look, I get a hint okay. I'll leave Faith alone and she'll get whatever she gets!" He said coldly leaving.
