Inside the Garden
You flee and eventually reach the wall of the garden together, sounds of pursuit distant but getting louder with every second. Lisa begins to climb and you keep watch. When she reaches the top she looks back at you.
"What are you doing?" Her voice sounds panicky, "Come on!"
"No, Lisa," you sigh, "I'm not coming. Look at me. I can't go back to my life now. I'll just be putting everyone in danger."
"No!" She pleads, "we can make it..."
The shouts and screams of angry vampires draw closer and you see them streaming across the lawn towards you.
"Go, now," you shout to your sister, "I'll be fine! Go, before it's too late!"
With a final mournful look at you she drops down on the other side. You wait for a moment until you hear the sound of your car driving off into the distance. Relief washes through you and you turn to face the garden. You can't go back to the house and so you set off into the mist, picking a direction at random.
You live out the rest of your very long life an aimless wanderer in the garden, having many other adventures. You never see your sister again.
