Extend the Story - Add a Room

You crack open your eyes, your head throbbing and your breath coming in shallow gasps.

The window.
You looked up, expecting shattered glass and a creepy mist approaching your vunerable body. Seeing nothing but a blank wall and a sink, you realize you were in the nurses office.
And then someone coughed.
You jerked your head in the direction of the sound, expecting a zombie ready to throttle you......
...and you found Mr. Hunter who's-crazy-about-mushrooms. You gasped; you had not realized you had held your breath.

He had been sitting and reading silently near the foot of his bed, and he glanced up at you at the sound of your gasp.

"You're finally up,"
"Yes,sir," you mutter, and groan as you sit up.
"I'd lay back down if I were you," he said and pushed me back down.
"What...what happened..after I blacked out?"
"...everybody in the class got infected, except you and I,"
"..Wait, what?!" you exclaim, and fear clutches at your heart; he's gone mad.
"They didn't belive me, but it happened, it finally happened...," he mutters to himself, and your theory of madness seemed temptingly correct.

And then suddenly, the door (which you suddenly realize is barred with a chair) was being pounded by one, no, several fists, and a low moaning made me shiver. Just like your dream.

Is this a dream?

Mr. Hunter looked fearfully at the door, and then his eyes returned to yours, just like in the classroom.

"We have to go, that chair won't bar that door for much longer," he whispers urgently.

Think it's a dream and smile idiotically at him, "Sure, thing, mushrroom man!"
