Exploitation Theater
"I'm sure you locked it. Don't worry." You say still trying to get out of your girlfriend's request.
"No, I'm not sure and I'm going to continue to worry until you check!"
"Argh! Why can't you do it? You're the one who forgot to lock it! Why do I have to be punished?"
"You can't seriously want me to go out there by myself in this area do you?"
"Hey! Some of us are trying to watch the movie!" the goth guy whines again and at this point you're getting more and more frustrated since you're not able to watch the movie.
"Fuck off pale boy, he kills everyone in the end. There now you don't have to worry about it!"
"You fucking asshole!" the goth girl yells and the couple leave the theater. The rest of the people in there don't seem to mind your quarrel, if anything they're finding it more enjoyable than the movie.
"So are you going out to check? Because if I have to go check, you might not find the car there when you finish the movie!" your girlfriend threatens.
You can't really come back from that, so you fume away and go check on the car.
As it happens though, your girlfriend's threats meant absolutely nothing, because your find the car missing when you get there. This revelation is followed by you unleashing a torrent of obscenities that are too long to list here.
When you storm back into the theater, you proceed to complain to your girlfriend about the situation and blame her for forgetting to lock the door. She points out that she didn't really want to come to this area in the first place. After exchanging some more words, eventually you call a cab for the both of you to get home, but nobody's going home happy, let alone anything else going on afterwards.
