"Ok BB2, I'll join you, but it would be a good idea to at least still pretend to work with Z" said K. "I see, you were not working with Z, but staying close just to get all the information he has and occasionally steer him in the wrong direction" said BB2. "Yes, that is exactly what I was doing" said K.
"Now I will keep my promise I will tell you all the secrets I know about this Z" said BB2. "OK" said K. "This Z isn't Z" said BB2. "What?" said K. "This Z is just like me, but he was named. Do you know how the world was after Kira was defeated?" asked BB2. "No, not really" said K. "After Kira was defeated crime rose again to almost twice the level it was before he showed up, wars started across the world, but there was one detective that was known as the demon detective" said BB2.
"This detective got this name from the ruthless ways he solved cases, and removed crime. This was the detective that defeated Kira, Near" said BB2. "What?" said K. "When Kira was defeated, Near started boasting about his greatness and claiming he could get rid of the criminals better than Kira. After a while crime fell down to around the level it was near Kira's death" said BB2. "I see" said K.
"With crime relatively low, this detective became bored. They had always had a difficult challenge to fight against and even though world crime was around 30% he had become bored" said BB2. "Near wanted a challenge and there wasn't one" said K. "Exactly, that's when 20 years after Kira had been defeated a new detective appeared, this detective is Z" said BB2. "You mean the Z that worked with Near?" asked K.
"No, this was the real Z. The real Z had no ties with Whammy's house at all, they were figuring crimes out like the great detectives before Near. He was also annoyed with Near's methods. After Kira was defeated Near would solve crimes with no regard to the law or the safety of the innocents near by, this is when he got the name; the demon detective. This name was given to him not by the criminals, but the families of the innocents that had died, there was nothing they could do, Near had become the god of the world" said BB2.
"Near was a god?" asked K. "Yes, he was. The real Z didn't like this, so a great detective war started. Near tried to uncover the identity of Z, so that he could be arrested and executed. Z wanted the world to become normal again" said BB2. "What happened?" asked K. "Z won, Near was no longer a god to the world, and assumed the identity N, but this only lasted three months before he could no longer act as a detective" said BB2. "So Z became his successor?" asked K. "Yes, but this was not the real Z. This was a fake Z. Near had been trying to create a clone of L" said BB2.
"What!?" said K. "I am a result of this, Near managed to get some of L's DNA, but not enough to create a proper clone, he also managed to get some of the real Z's DNA, when they had their final face off, which ended the detective war. The Z you know is the only proper clone of Z, L and, of course, Near. Z and I are the only two that managed to live, the rest just didn't work, but Near gave me the shinigami eyes" said BB2. "What? Why?" asked K.
He just said 'This one will be justice, you will oppose this justice, you are evil and will become insane'. He taught us all we needed to know and all of the history of Whammy's house, but Z believes that he is the real Z, and was found as an orphan and brought to Whammy's house" said BB2. "So you know more about this then Z does" said K. "Yes, I know the truth, he does too, but to an extent that allowed Near to control him" said BB2.
"What happened to the real Z?" asked K. "He vanished after the detective war finished" said BB2. "I see, so he created you and Z just so he would have a challenge" said K. "Yes" said BB2. "So what will we do then, BB2?" asked Kazuo. "I will show you my shinigami" said BB2, holding a piece of his Death Note out. Kazuo touched the paper.
PIPOr could see the shinigami. It was about seven feet tall, it's body was completely covered by bones, which appeared burnt a dark black colour, and black smoke seeped out of the cracks in it's skull. It's eyes glowed red. "I am the shinigami, Kurai. Meaning dark" said Kurai. "PIPOr can you see the shinigami?" asked Kazuo. "Yes, Kazuo-kun. It looks cool" said PIPOr. "BB2, can I have that piece of your Death Note so Kurai can visit at any time. Also so he can be seen by my partner?" asked K. "Yes" said BB2, handing the piece of paper to PIPOr. "PIPOr, show him Gizou" said Kazuo.
"Hai!" said PIPOr, giving a piece of her Death Note to BB2. "This way my shinigami, Gizou, can visit you any time as well, we can share information and Z won't be able to find out" said K. "Good idea" said BB2, taking the piece of PIPOr's Death Note. "Hello shinigami, Gizou" said BB2. "Hello, human" said Gizou. "What is the plan then Kira?" asked BB2.
