Extend the Story - Add a Room

"Wait, M mentioned BB, and 13 looks like B, what happened to BB anyway?" asked Kazuo. "He was originally a replacement for L, but went crazy wanting to be better then him. He figured if he made himself look like a victim, L wouldn't notice and continue chasing him forever; if that worked he would have won. His plan was figured out by an FBI agent and they stopped him from completing his plan, he was arrested, almost dead" said M. "Is he still alive?" asked Kazuo. "No, he died about 6 months after he was arrested, his injuries were too much for him to survive" said M.

"So If it says BB1313, it can't be BB" said Z. "What if it means B13 2, or BB2?" asked A. "I didn't think of that, that would mean it's a new BB, the second BB" said Z. "That still doesn't help us find them" said Kazuo. "No it doesn't, but what if they're a replacement for someone else" said Z. "It said 'I am L. At least I was'. It could be someone who wants to be L" said Kazuo. "Or they could just want us to think that" said Z. "Actually, the original BB wanted to be chased, but only by people smart enough to figure out his clues, which were also on paper" said M. "If all of that is true, then M is the main suspect" said Z, Ryuk was laughing. "How?" asked M.

"Mello and Near, were the successors of L, you want to be Mello so much you actually want to be L, or at least better; you might not be able to understand that, but it makes perfect sense, when you put all the pieces together" said Z. "Let's just lock him up while we continue our investigation" said Kazuo. "That's a good idea!" said Z, not wasting any time to get rid of M. "Keh keh keh keh keh! The misfortune of M seems to make Z very happy.... Interesting" said Ryuk, as A and Y took M to the cell. "Kazuo, this investigation is going to be hard" said Z. "Actually, if this person wants us to chase them we could just let them know, then a new clue would probably appear" said Kazuo. "Yes, that would work, but how should we let him know?" asked Z.
