Death Note by DeathNote
"What do you mean? We have to go after Near of course, we don't know what he's going to do next, but I'm sure it won't be good" said Kazuo. "You're right, I told the police to leave the note here anyway" said Z. "What? But how will they get here?" asked Kazuo. "Investigation team B, I said I suspected one of you was Kira, didn't I?" said Z. "It was another trap? Right, if I was Kira, I would know Near isn't a threat, because I would know what he is doing" thought Kazuo. "Wouldn't Near know their names though" said Kazuo. "Unfortunately yes, they're in the Death Note, but they die tomorrow" said Z, Ryuk was laughing.

"Why are you laughing shinigami?" asked Z. "I always laugh at misfortune" said Ryuk. "Anyway how are we going to find Near?" asked Kazuo. "I can track him with a satellite" said Z. "How?" asked Kazuo. "It's a new technology the the FBI has, It's top secret so I can't tell you anything about it, but in cases this extreme I can use it, but it will only work for 8 hours" said Z. "It will only track for 8 hours?" asked Kazuo. "No, it can only use what it uses to track him for 8 hours" said Z. "What does it use?" asked Kazuo. "I can't tell you, but it's similar to how a dog tracks something" said Z. "You can't tell me, but you can tell me if I'm right or not, right?" asked Kazuo, as Z contacted the FBI. "Exactly" said Z, as he talked to the FBI. Kazuo thought about what it could be for a while.

"Have you figured it out yet?" asked Z. "Dogs track mostly with their sense of smell, but it's impossible for a satellite to smell, so..." said Kazuo. "It tracks the chip I hid in that damn brief case that seems to be glued to his hand, also I noticed he is still wearing the belt that contacts me in case of emergency. There is no new technology, I just wanted you to be out of the way for a second" said Z. "I see" said Kazuo, Ryuk was laughing. "Anyway I found him, He's heading for the orphanage" said Z. "Orphanage?" asked Kazuo. "Where the original L, Near and I came from" said Z. "So it trains more of you?" asked Kazuo. "In a way, yes" said Z, leaving the room; Kazuo followed. They entered the elevator and Z pressed the button for the top floor. "We're going there by helicopter" said Z, proudly. "You can fly one?" asked Kazuo. "It became a required skill for everyone after L" said Z.

The elevator stopped at the top floor and the doors opened. Kazuo and Z walked out, Ryuk wasn't following. "Good, Gizou told him not to follow me" thought Kazuo, as Z opened the door to the roof. "This is my helicopter" said Z, pointing at the helicopter. "It looks alright" said Kazuo. as they got in the helicopter. "What do we do when we find Near?" asked Kazuo. "We catch him, and if we can't, I'll write his name down in my Death Note" said Z, as the helicopter took off.

A few hours later they arrived at the orphanage. "Is that it?" asked Kazuo. "Yes that's the orphanage..." said Z, as a huge explosion engulfed the building, a person could be seen flying out the front door, covered entirely in fire, and into the large fountain in front of the building. Z was shocked, and landed the helicopter. Z got out of the helicopter and ran towards the fountain, as Kazuo got out of the helicopter.

"Who was it?" asked Kazuo. "It was Near, I think he did this" said Z. "Just as I wrote it in my Death Note" thought Kazuo. Ryuk appeared. "The owner of this note is dead, it's ownership will be given to human currently holding it or it will return to the shinigami world" said Ryuk. "I'll take it, that way we still have the evidence we need to end this" said Z, sadly. Ryuta was flying in the air smiling, then flew away.
