Extend the Story - Add a Room

It was a day later, Z was still no closer to figuring out Kazuo was Kira, but Kazuo was still no closer to getting rid of the orphans and Z. "Good you're here" said Z, when Kazuo entered the investigation room. "As you know, our plan to capture the second Kira failed" said Z. Ai walked into the investigation room. "Ai? wasn't she the second Kira?" asked Kazuo. "Huh? That's right I guess I forgot to tell you, it was part of my plan to catch the second Kira" said Z. "How?" asked Kazuo. "Kazuo, you know it would take too long to explain it completely. But I'll just give you the basic, would you be worried about someone following you if they were dead?" said Z.

"Maybe, it would definitely be annoying if not distracting" said Kazuo. "Exactly, if the investigation team is dieing, then the Kira or Kiras know who is in the team. If they think one member is dead they won't try to waste time killing them again, they'll think it's just a new investigator" said Z. "How are you even sure something like that would work?" said Kazuo. "It was just a guess, but I thought it through before trying. The new Kira would have some sort of superiority complex from their new powers. Wouldn't you Kazuo? Just write a name and they're dead, anyone would be corrupted by that much power" said Z. "I see" said Kazuo. "Keh keh keh keh keh! He's always so close to catching you" said Ryuk. "I know, but I will win" thought Kazuo.

"Z while I was investigating, I came across some strange killings" said Kazuo. "How strange? Similar to Kira?" asked Z. "Yes, they were all suicides, but they all had a note which said the same thing" said Kazuo. "What did the note say?" asked Z. "I don't know I didn't find that out" said Kazuo. "But them all dieing with a note makes them connected right?" said Z, almost laughing. "No, the fact that the suicide note was written in a black note book each time does, they're fake Death Notes, but it's very obvious they're fake. It says 'Fake Death Note' on each cover" said Kazuo. "Oh? that, I've been hearing about those, but thought it was someone just pretending for a joke" said Z. "This could be one of his traps" thought Kazuo.

"I'll investigate those suicides now, you can help as well. We need to get one of those fake Death Notes. Ai and Sagara, there's been a recent one in the area go and collect the note from the police for me" said Z. "Alright" said Sagara, as he and Ai left. "What do you want me to do?" asked Kazuo. "You can help here, or keep an eye on Near, he's been acting strange for a while" said Z. "I know why he's been acting strange. He's acting just the way the third Kira should, but not for long, his time runs out tomorrow" thought Kazuo.
