The Great Conflict

You peak your head through one more time and then pull back quickly. As you do a barrage of objects flies through the doorway and as soon as it passes you do a roll across the doorway firing your energy pistol as you go. You manage to land a hit square in his chest without taking any hits. You move in the room to examine him and find that the shot, though it was most definitely a direct hit, did not effect him. His green aura must have stopped it. You quickly try to grab your PEAR but before you can he blasts a hole right through your torso with a huge blast of energy. Your insides spray and splatter all over the room and you are dead before you hit the ground.
