The Great Conflict

You decide to kick in the door so whoever is inside, if anyone, does not have a chance for retaliation but decide to use your stun pistol instead of the PEAR. Your logic is that it would be folly to open fire on everyone inside and risk killing them and being unable to take any clerics within the room prisoner. With your pistol in hand, you kick the door in. It splinters and shatters, fragments going everywhere and in the confusion you spot a cleric on the other side surrounded by a green aura. You blast him with your energy pistol and find that he is unaffected. Before you can move to cover he unleashes a massive blast of kinetic energy he has been charging. The energy causes you to fly back into the opposite wall of the hallway, many of your bones breaking in the process. Before you can compose yourself he causes an axe to fly up from the ground and deep into your chest. Realizing your death is imminent, you call the PEABs in to mop up anyone inside the building and then detonate your remote antimatter charge, killing you and anyone else on the floor. You failed your mission and died, but in your death you managed to at least hurt the Faithful war effort by taking out some of their best clerics.
