"Grenade."
You an Gregory jumped back into the trenches just before the Grenade exploded.
"That was close," Gregory yelled.
"Hey, where's Stevenson?" You asked.
"Stevenson! Has anyone seen Stevenson?"
"Sir."
You turned around.
"I know where Stevenson is."
"Who are you soldier?" You asked.
"I am Private 1st class Benjamin, from 23rd company, sir," Replied Pvt Benjamin.
"You say you know where Stevenson is Private?"
"Yes, sir. He was heading over to that building last time I saw him," explained Pvt Benjamin.
"He told me he was going to clear it out, sir. Before I could stop him, he had gone."
"He went alone?" You asked.
"Yes, sir."
"Alright then. Where is Carlson?"
"I am here, sarge."
Carlson was one of the best soldiers you had ever encounted except for maybe you and Stevenson.
"Right men. Me and Carlson are going to get over to that building and give Stevenson some help. You lot give us some covering fire."
You stood up and were almost hit by a stray bullet.
"SHIT!!" You scream.
"Percy, up front and centre."
"Sir!" Answered Percy.
"Can you hit the gunner?" You asked.
Percy lifted his head slightly and pointed out the gunner you were talking about.
He put his head back down and grabbed his gun.
"Well??" You ask.
"I can do better than hit him. If the wind goes in my favour sir, I should be able to hit the Gunner behind him as well."
You watched Percy set up the Rifle, a Winchester .22. He aimed it at the Gunner.
"Sir. Sir can I fire. Sir. SIR!"
"Fire at will," You blurted out.
You ducked your head, heard the gun fire and felt something heavy land on top of you. You lifted your head and saw Percy's face, a hole right in between his eyes.
"SNIPER! FIND COVER!" You scream.
Make a run for the building Stevenson is Clearing out
