Iconoclast's comment lingers in the air before his dagger splits through it. You dodge the attack and run behind your nightstand.
You grab the candle and wield it as a weapon. Iconoclast flips the table aside and closes in. You fling the candle at his body. He skillfully parries it with his left forearm and it falls harmlessly to the floor.
You make a last ditch lunge at him but in one motion he dodges you and stabs you in the side. You wince and fall to the ground. He pulls the blade out of your ribcage and slices your throat to finish you off.
