Extend the Story - Add a Room

Kingdom Stance by michaelrayholt
You spring from your hiding place, quickly retrieving your freshly-made potion from your satchel and gulping it down in just a few seconds. Having made neither a rush nor a cry, the brigands regard you with sort of a nonchalant curiousity. After imbibing "Love's Breath", you do your best imitation of a dragon, breathing as it were fire from your mouth (even though it's only breath).

One problem.

You're marginally out of range, the wind has just picked up, and the bandits are now upwind of you. Being the seasoned criminal their leader is, he realizes that something foul is afoot and motions toward the archer of the group, "Lot..."

Lot is up, with an arrow notched and drawn in less time than it took you to guzzle your potion.

"Perhaps you would care to rethink your strategy, tart? Whatever you're attempting is no match for a quick release from Lot here," threatens the leader, smugly.

It would appear that nature isn't always on your side. What will you do?
Accept defeat. Offer your deepest apologies and offer to join them in exchange for sparing your life.
