Extend the Story - Add a Room

You quickly wave a rush of energy that turns to a riverflow of water from your arms, directing it squarely at the mother and young child. Torrents of liquid erupt forth, completely washing them out of the way of the fireball, a fraction of a second before impact.

The fireball lands with a great thud and even bounces once, but other than an impressive dent in the earth, has done no real harm. The water that washed the mother and young child away even snuffs out the fire!

They both appear stunned, but the mother instantly recognizes what you've done. With a grateful smile of adoration, she turns and hurries her young lad off toward the safety of the inner walls.

Encouraged by your modicum of success, your turn your attention back toward the fight at the outer walls.
