Extend the Story - Add a Room

You quickly transform the vapor in the air into ice through the gelid nature of your spirit's will. You make a ramp that should sustain an arc capable of turning the fireball back toward the inner part of the outer wall, creating nothing more than a slowly rolling trip hazard.

However, you are unable to make a sculpture of sufficient solidity in the split-seconds before impact and the entire thing shatters under the weight of the falling payload.

The woman and child are crushed by the ball and cut by the shards of flying ice. Fortunately, by the time you get there, they are both still barely alive, and you are able to use your healing touch to save their lives.

Dazed and somewhat muddled, they both stagger to their feet before running toward the safety of the inner wall. You must now decide where your help would next be of the most use.
