Extend the Story - Add a Room

As if throwing it in Clarise's face, you say decisively "If the situation is as serious as you say, then me and Aril should leave immediatley."

After saying this, the king nods his head. Clarise gives you a nasty look that you can't help but notice and you are a little bit excited when you notice that Aril is smiling at you.

Fifteen minutes later, you've gathered a bunch of clothes and belongings together and put them into packs which you attach to your horse, Crystal. Aril rides up to you on his black horse named Digger and looks down at you.

"Are you ready?" he asks.

You nod and say "Yes, just about." You check your packs and make sure you haven't forgotten anything. Food, clothes, water, it's all there. Aril gives you a hand and you climb up onto your horse. With one final look at your glorious temple, you and Aril ride out of the great doors, ready to start your adventure.

A few minutes later, you and Aril are riding through the beautiful fields and planes of your land. The sun has set and the dark sky is illuminated with hundreds of shining stars.

As you ride side by side with Aril, you ask him "So what are we doing Aril? Where are we going?"

Hesitantly, Aril pulls out a map and points to four areas he has circled. "There have been many rumors circulating about a magnificent item that can cure the disease. Some say that it was first created and used thousands of years ago when this disease first appeared. After it was vanquished, for reasons unknown to me, the item was taken apart and hid at vast corners of our country."

"But what is this item?" you ask him.

Aril shakes his head. "I have no idea. But for some reason, I think it might be our best chance at saving our people."

He hands you the map and lets you look over the places he's circled. "I'll let you decide where you want to go first," Aril says.
