Life After Life by mevergreen
A part of me had never been able to let it go. Why hadn't God helped me? If he was so great, if he was so mighty why hadn't he come and fixed his flawed creation?

"How do you know it's a flaw?" I stopped with a start. As I'd been thinking I'd been treading the burnt terrain of what was evidently Hell. Lava pooled around the pathways and now, blocking my path was a white winged angel. He was beautiful. His hair trailed in lengthy blond curls past his shoulders, onto the ground. His emerald eyes pierced my soul and I was dead now, so the desire I'd been free of all these years came back ten fold. I wanted him, desperately.

"The bible..." my voice was pathetic, soft. I didn't want to hold a conversation, I wanted
to hold him.
