Resident Evil: Umbrella Scrub by Touphi
The RPD could wait...no need to get into much more danger than you were already in. Especially with all of this dead weight tagging along. Leon didn't even have a gun, which was kind of a problem. He had been becoming more and more sober over the past few hours, so you figured you'd give him your shotgun, at least until you've found more firepower.

"Holy-woah!" Leon shouted when you handed it to him. He played around with it, aiming a imaginary targets and making some weak sound effects with his mouth. Jill chuckled, as did you, but eventually you moved on. When you arrive to the gas station, all seems normal. Signs almost screaming out SALE! and CHEAP SMOKES! Greet you, and there even seems to be a person inside.

"Could be a zombie...Leon, go check it out." You tell Leon, pushing him ahead.
"Oh, so I'm the automatic scout, eh?" He grumbles. You raise both eyebrows and give him an "Um, yeah, isn't it obvious" look, then point to the shotgun. Leon rolls his eyes and blows upwards into his bangs, then turns around and heads toward the figure. After peering into the glass as stealthily as he could, he motions for you and Jill to come.

"I dunno, he looks a bit odd...deranged. But, he's not rotting. Shall we try?" Leon says, speaking more coherently by the minute. You agree, and grab the grip of your gun while walking into the shopping section. The man instantly gets up and grabs his gun at the sight of you.
"Freeze! Are you human?" He says, tightening his grip on the gun. His finger doesn't look too steady, and he's obviously had a few drinks. Jill and Leon stood frozen at the doorway.
