Resident Evil: Umbrella Scrub by Touphi
You have an inner conflict for a while, deciding whether to be a good friend but possibly killed by Umbrella, or rising up in the ranks of Umbrella, but possibly getting Jill killed. You soon decide that your own life has more value right now, and tell Jill to head to the park, where you knew Nemesis and a few UBCS soldiers would be found.

The drive there is hectic, as people swamp the streets trying to get away from the zombie threat. Many of them try to board the cruiser and one manages to crack the rear windshield with a plank.

"I just know Umbrella's behind this, they should've believed me at the station" Leon pipes up from the back seat.
"Oh, so you're that crazy guy they laid off yesterday. Umbrella makes all sorts of useful products, why would they manufacture evil flesh eating monsters?" Jill replies, dodging a small pack of zombies who are shuffling toward a fire.

As you near the park, the human count becomes smaller and smaller. The inner city had probably been hit hardest, and you can see many smoking buildings and hear screams in the distance to prove it.

The park is unusually quiet, even with the mass hysteria going on not three blocks away. You don't see any UBCS soldiers nearby, so you begin exploring, telling Leon and Jill that you're looking for an old hiding spot of yours.

Soon you spot a chopper in the sky, with a large cylinder attached to it. The chopper is not marked, so you can't tell if it's Umbrella. You take shelter behind a tree while you wait for it to descend, which it soon does.

Four UBCS units file out. A researcher of some kind also exits the chopper, and gives an order to release the cylinder. What's inside does not surprise you...a Nemesis unit. You'd heard all about it's amazing combat prowess and high intelligence. There was no way Jill could take this thing alone.
