You diligently take out your credit card and place it with the check. The waiter takes it, but there is a long delay while he processes your card.

Nikky returns and smiles seductively at you.

Just then, the waiter returns. "I am sorry, sir, but your card is no good. Do you have some other form of payment?" You scramble and find a card that works, but from that point forward Nikky loses all interest in you. You later hear folks around campus call her "Tony's slut."

At least she got what she wanted.
