When you create a story it is not automatically available in searches, when browsing, or on the front page lists. There are a few things that have to be met or set before this can happen.

In your story setting you must first have your story set to "Public" or nobody will ever be able to see it but you. Leaving it private is useful to be able to work on a story in private before you release it. As long as it is Public people can always read the story by looking at your profile and viewed your story list, even if the following requirement is not met.

Your story must also have at least 20 rooms in it. If you just added enough rooms to push it over the 20 room limit you may have to wait a little while for the system's cache to update. This happens every couple hours or so, so you won't have to wait that long for it to show up.
