FAQ: What is the difference between public vs private stories?

The public/private status is strictly for reading access. A public story is one that can be read by everyone and will be accessible via the "browse stories" feature. A private story is one that only the author/owner or members with writing access rights can read (Please note that write privileges imply reading privileges)
