FAQ: What are access rights?

Access Rights allow you to control writing privileges for individual members. They allow you to do the following:

• Ban a specific member from adding to an individual (or all stories) story you own.
• Grant a specific member writing privileges to an individual (or all stories) story you own.

These rights are used in conjuction with the Can other people add rooms to this story status in Story Settings. This status either grants writing privileges for all members (Yes) or limits writing privileges to only the author (No).

Please note the following:

• Giving writing privileges for a story that already lets others add to the story has no effect (because all members are already allowed)
• Banning a member from adding to a story that does not let others add to it has no effect (because all members are already banned)
