You throw the door close. You take a step back then turn when an explosion blows you from the door. You get up quickly and look through the mass of frightened guests and smoke to see the man standing there holding a long blade.

"Geren Miles," anger is in the man's voice, "due to resisting me you will succumb yourself to be brought in on the terms of the Book of Estol. Or die where you stand."
