Fan Fic: Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?

You arrive in Japan, a country where the historical and modern can often be seen side-by-side. The magnificent structure before you is a torii gate, signifying entry into a Shinto or Buddhist shrine. It marks the border between the sacred (the shrine) and the profane (the outside world). Torii gates have been around for centuries but the world outside it has modernized at such a rapid pace that Japan is now one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.

You walk around Japan searching for clues to the whereabouts of Sue Aside and the World Cup.

A few holes in your shoes and many hours later, you have found nothing. Not a single clue. Not one person has seen anything remotely resembling the description of the crook and loot you gave them.

After a few more days of the same, you give up and try another possible location.
