Nov 9, 2010 | Quality story and quality writing. However, the story felt a bit linear, except with optional detours that always seemed to deposit you back on the path. There were also some inconsistencies in the story. So, I would give 9 for the story, but only 7 for usage of the infinite-story engine, averaging out to 8. |

Aug 9, 2008 | I haven't completed this yet, but just wanted to say that this has been an exceedingly enjoyable read so far. The characters are interesting and engaging, and the plot is awesome. Great work on this!

Jun 24, 2007 | I read this one months ago, and quite frankly I don't have the energy for it again, but I'm currently on a "go-back-and-rate-deserving-stories" kick to try to mitigate the effects of random 5's left by random users with not so much as an explanation. From what I remember...pushing aside the cobwebs...this story put in a lot of attention to detail and sensory description, which is something I always like to see. I admit, I am partial to this sort of style. I too found myself intrigued and pulled in and was sorely disappointed when I came up against an unfinished ending, even if the "ending" was told in the beginning. The first page of the story seemed a little too histrionic to me right off the bat, but I'm not going to dock you for this since it makes sense within your framework. In other words: ten. |

Jun 2, 2006 | It's an amazing piece of work, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was made into a film. I can't wait for it to finish.

Jan 30, 2006 | Don't really like the opening page, but the rest of it is fantastic! And OldManHiggins, quit being such an ass. |

Jan 25, 2006 | That wasn't very nice, Old Man Higgins. You're right though, the writing is deplorable. |

Nov 16, 2005 | You did an excellent job with this story, not short of great. It has a lot of freedom, changes in the story mood, and it has spectacular detail. In my opinion, this is in this website's top 3 stories at least. (I noticed a few grammaer/spelling errors)e but the story was so good that I coudn't dock any points for them. |

Oct 2, 2005 | What can I say. I like it, but something kept me from giving it a ten. Great story, though. It's put together very vividly. Whatever that means. I'm going to drink beer now. Cheerio. |

Apr 6, 2005 | Excellent writing. The best I've seen so far, except possibly Morathi, if I remember correctly. This would be a ten were it not for the four spelling/English errors I found on your first non-introductory page. Keep up the good work, though. I look forward to seeing more. |

Jan 21, 2005 | Amazing. Exceptional writing. That was truly good writing. Anything less than a 10 is crazy. One of my top 10 stories. I'm going to have to say #4, maybe. |
