You get up, run to a nearby vending machine and grab a mountain dew that is caffeine- flavored. You slam it down really fast and it amkes your throat hurt a bit. But at least you feel more awake. The sleep phase of your mind has sort of worn off. Wow, slamming soda hurts a bit.
You, being a supervisor, realize that maybe you should begin to supervise. You run to teh loadign dock and to your surprise, the truck is still there...
"Why do I not like the truck?..." you think to yourself. You have no idea. It's jsut an irrational fear you think.
You duck back behind a doorway and just "supervise" from the hallway. Everyone's doing a fairly good job, you think... and things seem to be going smoothly.
At that thought you hear a loud bang inside the loading area and look to find that a recently hired employee has just come to greet a large box with his face. Someone had unloaded it with the forklift too fast and it ran off the forks adn slid right into the guys face.
On the front of the forklift there is a large sign that Reads: "stay away from forklift when in use," he must have though it said: "BE as close as possible so injury is unavoidable for proper use."
You hate when new employees hurt themselves. Well shit, now you have to act liek a supervisor adn do something about it. But it was kind of funny...
