The World of Ee

Suddenly you hear something behind you. In shock you turn around to face a man walking towards you.
"Hey stranger, welcome to our fine village" he says.
"T...Th...Thank you" you manage to get out.
You think to yourself yet again how strange a dream this is. Or is it a dream at all? But what else could it be?
"My name is Not-as-old-as-Old-Eex, and this our fine village is called Xee."
You just stare at him transfixed. Is he mad, you think to yourself. Is this some sort of joke that is supposed to be funny?
"But you look confused. Let me take you to my house."
