Extend the Story - Add a Room

Swallowing your pride and decency you shove your friend towards the angry mob of brain washed fools in an attempt to save yourself. You turn around and run even as Jake curses you ad your cowardly ways.

It hurt to have to do that, but anything that increases your chances of survival is worth doing. You run down the hall, your shoes squeeking with almost every step on the lenoleum tiled floor. You glance back once before making the turn into a side hall. You see Jake being held down by five students while the teacher smacks him and attempts to rationalize conforming with him.

No one appears to be following you, so caught up are they in Jacob. You slow your pace a bit and make your way cautiously towards the back doors. Suddenly over the loudspeakers you hear the teacher's voice announcing your escape and that you are to be captured and taken to the principals office for immediate discipline.

Almost at once the classroom doors open into the hall and teachers and students alike flood the hall. You curse your dumb luck and watch with severe anxiety as they spot you and begin to approach.

The back doors aren't far, but you'd have to crash through the student body. There's close to thirty of them and you doubt your ability to make it. But your only other option is to go through the cafeteria, which is on the other end of the school through doubtlessly crowded halls as well.

Damn those commie bastard and thier corrupted black hearts.

Head for the cafeteria and hope for the best.
